I'm Off The Bandwagon

I think I am going to risk it and jump off the "Sayid is Jacob" bandwagon. I don't have many reasons for this other than that I finally watched the Jimmy Kimmel with Denisof and Cuse and they seemed rather surprised by the idea and went on to say, "well, there is definitely something in Sayid..." They may be trying to throw me off, but I figure we need some opposing sides to keep things interesting, so I will be the opposing side for this blog.

Kimmel asked some good questions! So if you haven't watched it yet, you should. That's all I have to say. Oh, and if you haven't read my answer to my questions on Juliet, they are in the comments under my entry.

  1. I agree. I don't think Jacob is in Sayid. And that was a fantastic interview by Kimmel. Clearly he is a fan. He actually asked useful questions!

  2. It was an excellent interview! I don't generally watch him, but he asked some very good and very helpful questions.

  3. I'm glad someone else doesn't think that Jacob is Sayid. I think Sayid is still Sayid, and that the powers of the healing spring or whatever it was just took some time to work. Sayid was never quite dead--he came very close, but not quite.

  4. I think the water being murky and dirty is going to have some HUGE significance.

  5. Clearly the murkiness was due to Jacob being dead. If he wasn't, it would've been clear and the healing properties would've worked much, MUCH faster (remember the Japanese dude's hand and how surprised/pissed he was that it didn't heal right away). So the water/spring is/was linked to Jacob. And the "risks" involved are because the Spring is still there, and supposedly might still work...it just wouldn't be linked to Jacob anymore.

(I'm saying a lot of stuff that is obvious, I know...it's how I think. Don't judge me.)

    So the question is:

Did the spring *really* work, or not?
